In MATUNGGONG, APM personnel are closely monitoring flood-prone areas in several villages following continuous rain since dawn.

According to APM, low-lying areas have begun to experience rising waters.

Monitoring began at 8.50am in Kampung Tinutudan, Kandawayon and Kampung Ondou, where river waters have overflowed into residential areas and main access roads to the villages.

Water levels were reported to reach ankle-high.
