PAPAR: Parti Cinta Sabah (PCS) supreme council member Siti Rukiah Ahmad has lodged a police report over a circulating voice recording alleging that Bongawan GRS candidate Tan Sri Anifah Aman instructed out-of-town voters to collect travel allowances.
She said the recording, shared widely in a WhatsApp group named “Pengundi Luar,” was entirely false and did not originate from Anifah.
Anifah dismissed the allegation as a deliberate attempt to mislead voters, calling it a troubling example of election manipulation.
He said spreading fabricated claims undermined the integrity of the campaign and urged all parties to uphold fair conduct in the remaining days.
Anifah added that he intends to pursue legal action against those involved, saying he would not allow his reputation or his commitment to Bongawan voters to be tarnished.
