Anifah denies viral recording alleging travel allowance directive
Rukiah and PCS members after lodging the police report on Tuesday.
PAPAR: Parti Cinta Sabah (PCS) supreme council member Siti Rukiah Ahmad has lodged a police report over a circulating voice recording alleging that Bongawan GRS candidate Tan Sri Anifah Aman instructed out-of-town voters to collect travel allowances.

She said the recording, shared widely in a WhatsApp group named “Pengundi Luar,” was entirely false and did not originate from Anifah.

Anifah dismissed the allegation as a deliberate attempt to mislead voters, calling it a troubling example of election manipulation.

He said spreading fabricated claims undermined the integrity of the campaign and urged all parties to uphold fair conduct in the remaining days.
