He said the preparations include deploying Starlink units to 29 polling centres by Nov 28 to provide stable coverage where needed.
Speaking during a working visit to the state election media centre on Tuesday, Fahmi added that telco towers statewide are functioning well with no major disruptions reported so far.
To assist journalists, he said three main media centres and 131 National Information Dissemination Centre (Nadi) sites have been activated across Sabah to offer additional workspace with high-speed internet.
Fahmi said the Malaysian Communications and Multimedia Commission is probing three online cases linked to the campaign, while also reminding all parties to steer clear of 3R elements as the Community Communications Department reviews proposals to strengthen its operations.
