Warden admits he allowed students to clean scene before police arrived
KOTA KINABALU: A warden told the Coroner’s Court he allowed students to clean the area linked to Zara Qairina Mahathir’s fall, saying he did not think to wait for police.

Rezany Mohd Taupek said students asked if they could clean the spot and he agreed, though he could not recall who made the request or who took part.

He initially assumed they meant the area where Zara had been moved, not where she first fell.

Pressed on why he permitted it, Rezany said the location was a main entrance used by students.
