RANAU: The big difference between allowing the GRS government to continue and voting in a new government is that one will start on a high platform while the other will start from zero.
Gabungan Rakyat Sabah (GRS) candidate for Paginatan, Datuk Abidin Madingkir said, the last five years of the GRS government have seen various development benefits through the Sabah Maju Jaya (SMJ) agenda.
“The people need to give a new mandate to GRS for the sake of continuity of development through SMJ 2.0 instead of taking risks with offers that are not necessarily certain.
“Why give your vote to those who promise flowers, the moon and stars but have no evidence to present, other than talk.
Abidin said this during his Ceramah tour in Kg Tinanom, Paus, Bitoon, Taba, Tampios and Nunuk Ragang.
Commenting on the achievements in Paginatan, Abidin said they included the construction of the Paginatan New Town which was approved with an initial allocation of RM500,000 for infrastructure works as well as the rapid land survey programme which successfully issued over 1,000 grants involving 6,000 acres.
