TAWAU: Barisan Nasional’s (BN) Apas candidate, Dr Elmiariezan Ardan, 35, has taken up the challenge of contesting the Apas seat, which has remained the “Titingan Legacy” for 21 years since 2004.
Dr Elmiariezan said as a young candidate, he enjoys strong grassroots support, particularly from younger voters who are believed to be leaning towards BN-Umno.
“We are taking this (youth support) as a stepping stone to win the Apas seat this time,” he said during a walkabout at Chester Night Market.
Dr Elmiariezan, who heads a private clinic, said he and his team have been actively working on the ground over the past three years and have received overwhelming support from youths who are keen to see change.
