KOTA KINABALU: City Hall (DBKK) says political parties have largely complied with the rules on installing campaign banners and flags in the State Capital.
City Hall Deputy Director-General (Operations) Robert Lipon said earlier issues involving materials placed at roundabouts, government signages and government buildings were resolved after swift removals.

He said DBKK and the Public Works Department had since reminded election agents to follow the conditions set for permitted campaign locations.
Robert added that DBKK hopes the orderly situation will continue until polling ends on Nov 29.
He reminded candidates that all campaign materials must be cleared after polling day, failing which their advertising deposits will be forfeited.
Robert made these remarks when officiating the My City, My Responsibility awareness campaign here on Saturday.
