PEKAN NABALU: Gabungan Rakyat Sabah (GRS) candidate Datuk Joniston Bangkuai has introduced new initiatives in his manifesto, designed specifically to provide platforms and opportunities for the Kiulu community.
Among these are the establishment of the Kiulu Market Hub, Co-Working Mini Hub, Kiulu Agricultural Cooperative Centre, and a Women’s Entrepreneurship Programme, focusing on local economic development, community empowerment, and support for young entrepreneurs.
“We want the Kiulu community to have a comfortable space to gather ideas, share inspiration, foster creativity, and use platforms that allow them to enhance their contribution to the local economy and generate sustainable income,” said Joniston during a walkabout session at the Nabalu Town Tamu.
He also distributed manifesto brochures to local residents and traders as a reference for the proposed initiatives.
