KIULU: Gabungan Rakyat Sabah candidate Datuk Joniston Bangkuai has unveiled several new initiatives aimed at creating fresh opportunities for the Kiulu community while strengthening ongoing efforts that have shown clear benefits.
The initiatives include the Kiulu Market Hub, a Co-Working Mini Hub, the Kiulu Agricultural Cooperative Centre, and a Women’s Enterprise Programme, all designed to support local economic growth and empower youth and community entrepreneurs.
He said the goal is to provide a comfortable space for residents to exchange ideas, nurture creativity, and use shared platforms to expand their contribution to the local economy and build sustainable income.
During a walkabout at Tamu Pekan Nabalu earlier today, Joniston distributed his manifesto to residents and traders as a reference for the programmes he hopes to implement.
He said the manifesto also reinforces ongoing efforts such as youth leadership and entrepreneurship funds, education support schemes, internet expansion, agricultural road access, tourism development, and skills programmes for all levels of the community.
