TAWAU: PKR secretary-general Datuk Seri Saifuddin Nasution says former Home Ministry secretary-general Datuk Ruji Ubi has the capacity to drive meaningful reform not only in Merotai but across Sabah.
He described Ruji as Pakatan Harapan’s (PH) most capable candidate in the area due to his experience, education, and local roots that give him a deep understanding of Merotai’s needs.
Saifuddin urged voters not to overlook the opportunity to elect someone who maintains a close working relationship with Prime Minister Datuk Seri Anwar Ibrahim.
He said Anwar had expressed strong confidence in Ruji during a recent visit, adding that Ruji’s record in three ministries shows his ability to solve community issues with practical solutions.
Saifuddin reminded party workers to avoid personal attacks and instead focus on highlighting PH’s strengths, expressing confidence that Merotai is among several seats the coalition can secure.
