TAWAU: The next Sabah Government will shoulder a crucial role in supporting Malaysia’s commitment to achieving the 17 Sustainable Development Goals (SDG) under the 2030 global agenda.
GRS deputy secretary-general Datuk Armizan Mohd Ali (

He said long-term SDG-linked projects risk being disrupted when governments change frequently, affecting funding and continuity.
Armizan added that GRS remains committed to safeguarding Sabah’s rights under MA63, including the 40 per cent revenue entitlement, with plans to channel part of it into the proposed Sabah Sovereign Wealth Fund for future generations.
Around 1,000 GRS supporters attended the event, which also introduced newcomer Dr Andi Mohd Shamsureezal Mohd Sainal as the coalition’s candidate for Tanjung Batu.
