RANAU: Sabah must first stabilise its political landscape before it can emulate Sarawak’s progress, said incumbent Karanaan assemblyman Datuk Seri Masidi Manjun.
He said the best way to maintain stability is to give Gabungan Rakyat Sabah (GRS) a fresh mandate in the upcoming 17th State Election.
“Since 1963, Sarawak has been governed by essentially the same ruling party, just under different names. That’s why they are politically stable.
“Imagine — Sarawak has only had six Chief Ministers or Premiers so far, while Datuk Seri Hajiji Hj Noor is already Sabah’s 16th Chief Minister.
