SANDAKAN: Two former Sabah DAP leaders, Datuk Frankie Poon and Liau Fui Fui, are widely expected to join Parti Kesejahteraan Demokratik Masyarakat (KDM) on Sunday, in what could signal a fresh political alignment ahead of the state polls.

Their crossover follows their resignation from Sabah DAP last month, after voicing dissatisfaction with the party’s current direction and leadership style.

Both are expected to submit their membership forms along with several branch chiefs at a ceremony scheduled here on Sunday.

Sources suggest that top KDM figures, including Acting President Priscella Peter and Deputy President Datuk Wetrom Bahanda, will be present to welcome them.
