KOTA KINABALU: Sabah Pakatan Harapan (PH) will meet on Sunday to determine its next chairman following the exit of Upko ahead of the 17th state elections last year.
Sabah PKR chief Datuk Mustapha Sakmud (

When asked whether PKR would take the lead, he said the decision would depend on consensus among component parties on a suitable candidate.
Upko president Ewon Benedick had previously drawn criticism after being selected to head the coalition, with some members questioning the choice given PKR’s position as the Prime Minister’s party and the presence of senior leaders within the bloc.
Mustapha said a press conference would be held on Sunday for the announcement.
