RANAU: Police here denied any incident involving the presence of “pengait” (headhunter) being viralled in social media.
Ranau police had taken immediate action and conducted a thorough investigation regarding the social media post.
Based on initial investigation, the Ranau police announced that there was no security threat and the situation was under control and safe.
The public are advised not to make any speculation and always refer to official sources before spreading information.
If there is an unwanted, suspicious incident or activity involving crime, misconduct and drugs, the public can contact the Ranau IPD at 088-875222 or report it at the nearest police station.
