Tuaran: Parti Kerjasama Anak Negeri (PKAN) Secretary-General Trevor Maringking views Star and SAPP’s bold departure from GRS not merely as a moment of reckoning, but as the dawn of a new era of renewal.
“We stand resolute and ready to forge an unbreakable alliance with Star, SAPP, and all like-minded local-based parties who share this singular, burning vision: Justice for Sabah, Unbreakable Unity for Sabahans, and Enduring Dignity for Future Generations,” he said.
The time for rhetoric is over, he said adding what matters now is unwavering sincerity, absolute unity, and tangible delivery.
“If these principles are demonstrated, Sabahans will rise, vote, and rally with unprecedented strength behind a government led by this truly ‘Sabah for Sabahan’ coalition – a government finally free from external shadows, singularly and fiercely committed to the interests of Sabah and its people.”
Meanwhile, Trevor said a united local-based coalition must be forged on four unshakeable commitments:
1. Unyielding Resource Sovereignty: Dedicate every state resource exclusively to the people of Sabah, ensuring equitable development and leaving no community behind.
2. Empowering Sabah’s Future: Invest profoundly in Sabah’s dynamic young generation, recognizing them as our greatest asset and the indispensable key to unlocking Sabah’s boundless potential.
3. Relentless MA63 Advocacy: Continue the relentless struggle for Sabah’s enshrined rights under MA63 until absolute justice, fairness, and autonomy are fully realized.
4. Unwavering Integrity & Transparency: Uphold the highest standards of integrity, transparency, and good governance across all facets of public administration, eradicating corruption and fostering public trust.
