KOTA BELUD: A man suffered minor burns to his head and shoulders after his home was destroyed in a fire at Kampung Pangkalan Abai here on Wednesday evening.

The wooden house was completely razed in the incident, which was reported to the Fire and Rescue Station at 6.53pm and brought under control by 8.19pm.

Eight firefighters extinguished the blaze using water from their engine, before handing the victim to Health Ministry personnel for further treatment.
