PENAMPANG: The Sabah Justices of Peace Council (Majaps) reaffirmed its commitment to service and compassion through a charity raffle draw at ITCC here on Saturday.
Majaps president Datuk Seri Clarence Malakun said the modest event reflected the council’s long-standing mission to promote goodwill and public service across Sabah.
He noted that the success of the draw was made possible by the dedication of members, sponsors and volunteers who worked together to support local charities.
Proceeds from the event will benefit nine organisations including Bondulu Children’s Home, Holy Family Home for Seniors, the Sabah Society for the Blind, and the Society for the Sabah Heart Fund.
The evening ended with cultural performances and the main prize draw, which included a Chery Omoda 5, marking another milestone in Majaps’ community outreach.
