Gun drawn as cops nab wanted man in Tuaran
Viral video recordings of the incident showed one policeman drawing his gun while another breaks the window of the suspect’s vehicle in conducting the arrest.
Tuaran: Police arrested a wanted man in Tuaran, Sabah, yesterday with one officer drawing his gun as the suspect attempted to escape before being apprehended.

Tuaran police chief Noraidin Ag Maidin said officers from the state contingent’s criminal investigation department found the suspect’s vehicle at CKS Plaza in Tuaran at around 3pm yesterday.

When they approached the vehicle and introduced themselves as policemen, the suspect attempted to escape by repeatedly reversing his four-wheel-drive into the police vehicle which was parked behind him.

“Because of the suspect’s actions, the team acted by breaking the front passenger window to arrest the suspect. In the process, there was a scuffle with the man.
