PENAMPANG: A 38-year-old woman has died after she and her toddler were reportedly struck by an unidentified vehicle along Jalan Kampung Kimbabangan here.
The incident is believed to have occurred around 7.30pm on July 27 while the woman was walking with her one-year-old son.

She succumbed to her injuries at Queen Elizabeth Hospital at 3.15am on July 28, while her son remains in stable condition and is receiving further treatment at Likas Children's Hospital.
The vehicle involved allegedly fled the scene, and police are investigating the case under Section 41(1) of the Road Transport Act 1987.
