Kota Kinabalu: Former Prime Minister and Perikatan Nasional (PN) Chairman Tan Sri Muhyiddin Yassin rebuked what he says are “irresponsible” accusations by the person he helped instal as his successor over the much-debated wisdom of holding a general election during the current monsoon period.“It is highly irresponsible to pin the blame on me and the Cabinet for what has happened just because Umno and Barisan Nasional are facing attacks by the public for calling elections during the flood season,” he said.
Muhyiddin said Prime Minister Datuk Seri Ismail Sabri Yakob alone is responsible for what happened.
