TAWAU: The Tawau Hokkien Association Youth movement and Tawau Municipal Council (TMC) will jointly hold the 22nd Sand Castle Competition at Batu Payung Beach, Tinagat Road on Sept 11 (Sunday). It is in conjuction and Malaysia Day celebrations.Organising chairman Jasper Ngwi said the competition would start at 11am Merdeka Day with the theme of “Love Tawau”. It consists of two categories, namely: (a) Open; (b) Societies. Each participating team should not have more than eight members.
