RANAU: Christebell Masius from Kg Bongkud, here, emerged as the champion of the 2026 Ranau District Kaamatan Unduk Ngadau Final Competition held at the Ranau Community Hall on Saturday.
With the victory, Christebell will represent Ranau district in the Sabah State-level Unduk Ngadau competition at Hongkod Koisaan KDCA Penampang later this month.
As the champion, she took home RM10,000, the Unduk Ngadau crown, a trophy, a bouquet of flowers and sponsored prizes. She also won the Tati Rasuk Pongitanan category in the competition.
Second place went to Lyvylen Ryene Dohny, who received RM6,000 and other prizes, while Elana Joyce placed third, taking home RM3,300 and additional prizes.
Fourth and fifth places were won by Bridget Des Joannes and Jane Ellyria Jatri respectively.
For the Tati Korohian Facebook ID title, Emilya Simun emerged winner with a total of 5,000 likes.
The event, attended by thousands of local residents, was officiated by Deputy Chief Minister II and Finance Minister, who is also Karanaan Assemblyman, Datuk Seri Masidi Manjun.
