Kuala Lumpur: A cleaner’s simple gift of a boiled egg has touched hearts online after a woman from the national capital shared how the gesture moved her to tears.

Threads user Angelinaksjean posted a photograph last Thursday showing a boiled egg wrapped in tissue paper at her office.
She said the cleaner gave her the egg after she had previously bought him food, writing: “The cleaner gave me a boiled egg because I once treated him to food.”
The act of kindness left a strong emotional impact on her, with her saying: “Never in my life have I eaten an egg while crying; I’m really too soft-hearted.”
