MENUMBOK: Persatuan Kadayan Sabah (Paadian) and Persatuan Bisaya Bersatu Sabah (PBBS) signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) to strengthen strategic cooperation during Paadian’s 2026 biennial general meeting.
Paadian president Datuk Dr Yusof Yacob said the MoU lays the groundwork for collaboration in cultural, entrepreneurship and community programmes.
PBBS president Datuk Ruslan Muharam expressed full commitment, with plans to allow Paadian to use the Bisaya Cultural and Arts Centre in Beaufort for activities.
Both groups aim to advance their communities in culture, as well as economic and professional sectors.
Meanwhile, Dr Yusof was re-elected unopposed as Paadian president for 2026–2029, with Datuk Ramlee Kariah and Sani Gapar retaining their posts, and Hamidi Salleh and Nawi Bair elected as new vice presidents.
