KOTA KINABALU: Persatuan Perunding Malaysia Keduaku Sabah (Sabah-MM2H) formally installed its founding committee and signed a strategic Memorandum of Understanding with Standard Chartered Bank (M) Berhad during its Pre-Chinese New Year Gala Dinner here on Sunday.

The ceremony marked the association’s official leadership installation following the formation of its protem committee in May 2024 and its registration in May 2025, after the issuance of Sabah’s first KePKAS consultant licences.
Founding president Jenny Ngu said the milestone formalised a professional body representing licensed Sabah-MM2H consultants.
“The official installation of our founding committee represents a historic and meaningful milestone for Sabah-MM2H.
"The association was established to serve as a unified professional platform representing licensed consultants while supporting the growth, integrity and global positioning of the Sabah-MM2H programme,” she said.
Under the MoU, Standard Chartered Bank (M) Berhad will serve as an official banking partner to support the financial and compliance requirements of the programme.
The agreement was signed by Ngu and Vincent Bong, the bank’s head of International Banking and Family Office, and witnessed by Jafry.
Ngu expressed appreciation to the Sabah government and regulatory authorities, saying the association remains committed to attracting quality international residents and strengthening Sabah’s position as a preferred destination under the Sabah Malaysia My Second Home programme.
