LABUAN: Labuan Chinese Chamber of Commerce Chairman Datuk Wong Kii Yii foresees Borneo Air operating at a loss if it continues with its present outdated business approach.
He backed up his claim by producing evidence of being told the flight was full when he inquired availability of seat on the Labuan-Kota Kinabalu-Miri route on April 7.
He first booked an open ticket for the flight earlier to ensure he would have a seat should he decide to fly on that day.
“When I decided to use the ticket for the April 7 morning flight, nobody could confirm my flight, including staff at its main Miri office. Getting them on the phone was also a tiring exercise.”
