The visit, which began at 9.30am, included Mayor Sabin’s officer Karim, several department heads, senior DBKK officers, personnel from the Malaysian Armed Forces (Division 5/Wataniah DBKK), and the police.
Many of the residents affected by the Sembulan Urban Redevelopment Scheme are elderly and frail, with some facing difficulties relocating to new homes.
During the visit, Sabin engaged warmly with residents, listening to their concerns while updating them on the latest status of the redevelopment.
The outreach aimed to ensure no resident is left behind and that their welfare remains a priority throughout the redevelopment process. In a gesture of care and solidarity, he also presented food hampers and duit raya to affected residents to help ease their burden.

The visit reflected DBKK’s commitment to a people-centred approach to urban redevelopment, ensuring residents, particularly the elderly and vulnerable, are supported and kept informed at every stage of the process.
