KOTA KINABALU: An Indian national was fined a total of RM15,000 by the Sessions Court in Kota Kinabalu after pleading guilty to overstaying and possessing a fake temporary work e-pass.

Dhivin Kumar Sasikumar, 28, was fined RM10,000 or six months’ jail for remaining in Sabah more than three months after his social visit pass expired in November 2025. He was arrested on March 23 at the Kota Kinabalu International Airport.
