The suspects were detained while filling the drums with diesel at the fuel station.
LAHAD DATU: Two men in their 20s were detained while 1,000 litres of diesel and two four-wheel-drive (4WD) vehicles were seized in a raid by the Domestic Trade and Cost of Living Ministry (KPDN) here on Sunday.

Lahad Datu KPDN enforcement chief Azizul Amran said the arrests and seizure were made during Ops Tiris 4.0 at a fuel station.

He said the suspects were found transferring diesel into drums on the 4WD vehicles during the raid.

He said inspections at the scene found the men failed to produce any permits or authorisation documents for the diesel, and both were taken into custody to assist investigations under the Control of Supplies Act 1961.
