1,000 litres diesel seized in Lahad Datu
LAHAD DATU: Two men were detained while 1,000 litres of diesel as well as two Four Wheel Drives were seized following a raid conducted by the Ministry of Domestic Trade and Cost of Living (KPDN) on Sunday.

The total value of the confiscated items were estimated at RM117,150.

KPDN Lahad Datu Enforcement Chief Azizul Amran said the arrest and seizure were made during an Ops Tiris 4.0 at a fuel station, here. He said the suspects in their 20s were in the middle of transferring diesel into drums on the 4WD vehicles.

“They failed to produce any permits or authorisation documents for the diesel filling.

Azizul said enforcement teams would continue to strengthen monitoring efforts to ensure controlled goods, including RON95 petrol, are distributed in accordance with regulations.
