KPDN Lahad Datu Enforcement Chief Azizul Amran said the arrest and seizure were made during an Ops Tiris 4.0 at a fuel station, here. He said the suspects in their 20s were in the middle of transferring diesel into drums on the 4WD vehicles.
“They failed to produce any permits or authorisation documents for the diesel filling.
“Both individuals were detained to assist investigations under the Control of Supplies Act 1961,” he said.
Azizul said enforcement teams would continue to strengthen monitoring efforts to ensure controlled goods, including RON95 petrol, are distributed in accordance with regulations.
