Kota Kinabalu: Chief Minister Datuk Seri Hajiji Noor has appointed Tan Sri Andrew Sheng as his Special Advisor.
Hajiji said Sheng’s vast experience and strong credentials would be an asset to Sabah, particularly in the economic and investment sectors.

He said this after meeting Sheng at the Chief Minister’s official residence, Sri Gaya, on Friday.
Sheng, who is based in Hong Kong and grew up in Sabah in the early 1960s, has held several key posts in Asian banking and investment institutions and is a sought-after global economic speaker.
He previously served in senior roles at Bank Negara Malaysia, the Hong Kong Monetary Authority, the World Bank and the Securities and Futures Commission, Hong Kong, and is currently a Special Professor at the Chinese University of Hong Kong (Shenzhen Campus) while also serving on several international advisory councils.
