KOTA KINABALU: A Singgah Sahur programme reached healthcare workers, security personnel and the homeless at several locations around the city during Ramadan.
The initiative, organised by Youth Power Club Kota Kinabalu in collaboration with the Women, Youth and Beliawanis wings of Parti Gagasan Rakyat Sabah (PGRS) Likas, aimed to show appreciation to frontliners while assisting those in need.
Participants distributed sahur meals to healthcare workers at Hospital Queen Elizabeth I, security personnel at the Kota Kinabalu Police Station and the Kota Kinabalu Fire and Rescue Station in Sembulan, as well as homeless individuals around the city.
Among those present were PGRS Likas Women chief Halizah Din, Youth chief Syamee Mohd Ron, Beliawanis chief Noor Azee Ashikeen Asngari and Adem Firdaus Mohd Bahrin.
Organisers said the programme reflected the spirit of compassion and solidarity during Ramadan and hoped similar initiatives would continue in the future to support frontliners and vulnerable communities.
