KOTA KINABALU: Agriculture, Fisheries and Food Industry Minister Jamawi Jaafar welcomed the appointment of the Ministry’s new Permanent Secretary, Jumain Abdul Ghani.
Jamawi said he is confident that anyone appointed to the post would be able to carry out their responsibilities effectively, provided they receive full cooperation, support and commitment from all officers and staff within the ministry.
He reminded all departments and agencies under the ministry to give their full backing to Jumain to ensure smooth administration and effective policy implementation.
The ministry oversees four departments and five agencies, requiring strong coordination and teamwork to function effectively, he said.
