Roadmap for future of women in Sabah
Nuinda stressed that women today play multifaceted roles that extend far beyond traditional domestic responsibilities, balancing family obligations with professional careers and contributing meaningfully both at home and in the workplace.
Kota Kinabalu: The Sabah National Association of Wives of Civil Servants and Women Civil Servants (Puspanita) remains committed to empowering women through impactful programmes, strong grassroots collaboration, digital innovation and values-driven leadership.

“In 2025, Puspanita successfully organised 165 activities at the State level, including subcommittees and administrative activities, with 29 district and sub-district branches conducting another 440 more,” its Chairwoman Datuk Dr Nuinda Alias said during the Puspanita Sabah Branch 43rd Annual General Meeting (AGM) here, last Friday.

She expressed that these initiatives not only benefitted Puspanita members, but also contributed to the well-being of families and the wider community.

Last year’s highlighted programmes include Riuh Bersama Keluarga (RBK) held at Papar, which strengthened family bonds and fostered unity among members through inclusive and impactful family activities, the singing competition Puspa Voice 2.0 which served as a platform for talent and camaraderie, as well as the Puspanita Annual Dinner fundraising event which also featured the launch of Puspa Srikandi Official Headscarf & Shawl.
