The steady performance of the ringgit reflects market confidence in the nation’s fundamentals and policies.

At the regional level, China-Asean economic cooperation is deepening, with increased use of local currencies in trade enhancing financial stability and reducing external risks.

As China’s financial markets open further and the renminbi internationalises, greater capital flows to Asia are expected and Sabah is well-positioned to benefit through its strategic location, rich resources, and investor-friendly environment.

On behalf of SCCC, Frankie extended sincere Chinese New Year greetings to all Malaysians, the business community, Chinese compatriots, and supporters of the chamber, wishing everyone good health, harmony, peace and prosperity.

He also hoped for the nation’s continued stability and progress, with businesses and communities prospering together in the year ahead.
