KOTA KINABALU: Several roads and parking areas in the city centre will be temporarily closed from Feb 11 to 16 to facilitate the LampooPalooza 2026 event organised by the Sabah Tourism Board (STB).
In a notice dated Feb 10, City Hall (DBKK) said the closures involve Jalan Gaya and Jalan Segunting at staggered hours for event preparations, rehearsals and the main programme.

On Feb 11 and 12, Jalan Gaya and Jalan Segunting would be closed from 6pm to 6am.
From Feb 13 to 16, Jalan Gaya will be closed from 2pm to 2am, while Jalan Segunting will be closed from 2pm on Feb 13 until 6am on Feb 15.
Parking areas along Jalan Gaya will be closed from 6pm on Feb 11 until 11.59pm on Feb 15, while operating hours for the Menara Jubilee parking facility on Feb 14 will be extended until 2am on Feb 15, and DBKK advised the public to comply with instructions from enforcement personnel and use alternative routes to ensure smooth traffic flow and safety.
