Bingkor assemblyman Datuk Mohd Ishak said the provision of basic facilities oriented towards the grassroots economy is a practical step to ensure planned development has a direct impact on the lives of the people and is not merely symbolic.
He stressed that impactful developments such as Tamu Desa not only help increase household income but also promote local economic circulation and reduce rural residents’ dependence on urban centres.
With the completion and operation of the Kampung Merampong Village Tamu House, the area is expected to emerge as a new focus for community economic and social activities in line with efforts to strengthen balanced and inclusive development in the Bingkor constituency.
