Kota Kinabalu: The Kota Kinabalu Journalists Association (KKJA) pledged continued cooperation with Kota Kinabalu City Hall’s efforts to develop the state capital into a more beautiful, orderly and safe city.
KKJA Chairman Jimmy Goh said such collaboration was essential to strengthen relations and communication between the media and the city administration.
"We hope this cooperation can be continued so that together we can develop Kota Kinabalu into a more beautiful, orderly and perfect city," he said during a courtesy call on Mayor Datuk Seri Dr Sabin Samitah on Monday in conjunction with the Chinese New Year.
Goh said the annual visit was among KKJA's regular activities aimed at fostering closer ties with the DBKK.
He is confident that under Sabin's leadership, the vision for Kota Kinabalu's development will be realised.
He thanked the Mayor for taking the time to meet with KKJA members during the festive occasion.
