SEMPORNA: National Registration Department (JPN) enforcement officers arrested two men suspected of giving fake information about their MyKad applications.
JPN Sabah said the first man was detained at 10.30am on Jan 23 at JPN Semporna.

The suspect is believed to have given fake information as sponsor for MyKad application at JPN Kinabatangan on Aug 2, 2016.
At 11.30am the same day, another man was arrested, believed to have given fake information as sponsor for MyKad application at JPN Kinabatangan on April 3, 2017.
Both cases were investigated under Regulation 25(1)(b) of the National Registration Regulations 1990 (Amendment 2007).
JPN Sabah said it will continue to intensify monitoring and enforcement to combat attempts of fraud, falsification of information and abuse of registration procedures to ensure integrity of the national registration system.
