LAHAD DATU: Three men were injured when the Toyota Vigo they were traveling in skidded off Jalan SMK Segama in Lahad Datu and plunged into a 20-feet deep ravine at KM13 on Sunday morning.
Fire and Rescue personnel rescued the victims using RTA equipment, ropes, and stretchers, and they were subsequently handed over to the Health Ministry for treatment.

The rescue operation concluded safely at 2.17am.
In a separate operation on Saturday, Lahad Datu police arrested two men in Kampung Puyut for drug-related offenses. During the raid, officers discovered 5.65 grams of Syabu and tools believed to be for drug distribution on one suspect, who also tested positive for drug use.
Another 49-year-old man was detained in the same area after police found 0.38 grams of Syabu in his possession.
His urine also tested positive for drug use, and both suspects are under investigation under various sections of the Dangerous Drugs Act 1952.
District Police Chief ACP Dzulbaharin Ismail emphasized that the arrests reflect the Lahad Datu Police Headquarters’ ongoing commitment to combating crime, including drug offenses, in the district.
