CM acknowledges US envoy’s role in promoting Sabah

KOTA KINABALU: Chief Minister Datuk Seri Hajiji Noor received a farewell call from United States Ambassador to Malaysia Edgard D Kagan at his office in Menara Kinabalu on Thursday.

During the meeting, Hajiji expressed appreciation for Kagan’s dedicated service in Malaysia, particularly his role in strengthening bilateral relations and promoting Sabah internationally.

“I would like to thank His Excellency Edgard for his contributions and the cooperation established during his service in Malaysia, including his support in showcasing Sabah’s uniqueness and potential to the global community,” he said.

Kagan, meanwhile, congratulated Hajiji on his reappointment as Sabah Chief Minister.
