KOTA KINABALU: A fire involving two vehicles along Jalan Kampung Sembulan Tengah, Sembulan, was reported at 1.34am on Wednesday and brought under control within minutes.

The incident involved a Hyundai i10 and a Perodua Axia, each sustaining about 10 per cent damage, with the fire initially extinguished by members of the public using fire extinguishers before firefighters arrived at the scene at 1.38am.

A team of eight personnel from the Kota Kinabalu Fire and Rescue Station, assisted by two police officers, conducted safety checks, secured the area and ended operations at 2.05am, with no injuries reported.
