Kota Kinabalu: Sabah Oil and Gas Development Corporation Sdn Bhd (SOGDC) welcomed Datuk Shahelmey Yahya on his appointment as Ministerial-level Sogdc Chairman.
Following his appointment, the Chairman conducted an official visit and briefing at Sogdc headquarters, where he was received by Chief Executive Officer and Managing Director, Mohd Azmir Datuk Ramli, together with the corporation’s senior management team.

The visit underscored the Chairman’s early commitment to guiding Sogdc’s strategic direction.
Shahelmey highlighted the importance of strong corporate governance, effective performance monitoring, and integrated management of SOGDC and its subsidiaries.
He also expressed intent to enhance SOGDC’s investment strategy by focusing on sustainable, high-impact opportunities, while ensuring that ongoing investments are executed efficiently and aligned with the corporation’s objectives.
