Kota Kinabalu: The Sabah International Expo (SIE) 2026 will be held at the Sabah International Convention Centre from Sept 4 to 6 as part of efforts to attract more investors to the State.
Federation of Sabah Industries (FSI) Advisor Datuk Seri Wong Khen Thau said SIE 2026 is expected to strengthen Sabah’s position as a strategic investment destination while creating networking opportunities between local and international industry players.
“The expo is not only a platform to showcase products and services, but also serves as a business matching venue, a space for technology sharing and an exchange of ideas that can stimulate the growth of the State’s industrial sector.
“SIE 2026 offers industry players in Sabah the opportunity to expand their market reach while attracting investors to various high-potential sectors including manufacturing, technology, logistics and services,” he said.
He said this when met by the media after paying a courtesy call on the Head of State, Tun Musa, on Monday.
Wong, who is also FSI Honorary President, said the visit was to invite Tun Musa to officiate the SIE 2026 and to brief him on the federation’s current activities and its role in supporting industrial development in Sabah.
