KOTA KINABALU: Former Chief Minister Tan Sri Joseph Pairin Kitingan testified at the Sessions Court here on Wednesday in the ongoing Sabah Water Department (JANS) corruption trial.
Pairin, who also previously served as infrastructure minister, was called as a defence witness in the case involving former JANS director Ag Tahir Mohd Talib, his wife Fauziah Ag Piut, and former deputy director Lim Lam Beng.
The three are facing multiple charges, including money laundering involving RM61.57 million and the unlawful possession of luxury items allegedly committed between October and November 2016.
