Wan Ahmad said the benefits of the KAM programme have been extended to the education sector, with SMK Sanzac and SK Sembulan receiving an additional allocation of RM36, 000 to upgrade learning infrastructure.
“Investment in school facilities is important to ensure a more conducive learning environment for students,” he said.
Additionally, he said that non-physical projects under KAM Kampung Sembulan involve welfare and social development aspects through the Madani Ziarah Kasih Programme, which provided assistance to 150 recipients and 10 government retirees.
The Madani Youth Sports programme involved more than 500 youths, successfully promoting healthy lifestyles and strengthening social relationships among the younger generation.
Kampung Sembulan is among 43 Madani Adopted Villages nationwide under the national initiative introduced by Prime Minister Datuk Seri Anwar Ibrahim through the 2024 Budget to bridge the development gap between urban and rural areas.
