Kota Kinabalu: The Management of the Sabah Sports Board is investigating the neglect of sports equipment and deteriorating condition of the Gymnastics Hall at the Kota Kinabalu Sports Complex as reported by Daily Express.
It noted that the matter also went viral in social media.
“Immediate action has been taken to address several of the issues highlighted in the viral video,” they said on Friday.
“The Board views every complaint seriously and is committed to ensuring that all issues are addressed in accordance with established procedures and regulations, while actively working to resolve the matters raised through special allocations” it said in a statement.
“Our hopes are aligned with the expectations and desires of users who utilise the facilities.
“The issues circulated do not reflect our efforts and intentions. The Sabah Sports Board always aims to ensure that users feel safe and comfortable when using facilities at the Sports Complexes.
“Cooperation and feedback from the public are greatly appreciated to assist the Sabah Sports Board in continuously improving the quality of its services,” it said.
