LAHAD DATU: Police arrested two women and seized syabu in an operation codenamed Ops Tapis at Jalan Dam, here, last Saturday.
District Police Chief, ACP Dzulbaharin Ismail, said the arrest was made at about 11am during the operation carried out by the Narcotic Crime Investigation Division.

He said upon inspection on the 42-year-old local woman, police discovered substances believed to be Syabu hid inside a cigarette box. However, inspection on another suspect, a 52-year-old foreigner found nothing illegal.
Both suspects were tested positive for taking Amphetamine and Methamphetamine.
“Both suspects are currently in our custody for further investigation and action,” he added.
