KOTA KINABALU: Sabah Economic Development Corporation (Sedco) is moving to complete its long-delayed Small and Medium Industrial Park, a project approved in 2016 that stalled due to financial and technical issues.
Sedco said the 44-unit industrial park is now on track for completion in early 2026, with the Occupational Certificate expected by mid-2026.

The park, located near the Kota Kinabalu Industrial Park, is aimed at supporting SMEs, creating jobs and boosting local economic activity.
Sedco said renewed progress reflects a more pragmatic, results-driven approach, and has invited Sabah-based manufacturers and Bumiputra entrepreneurs to register their interest as tenants.
